There is no better way to travel back in time than to visit Ruinas Del Rey (The King’s Ruins). These remains of an ancient Mayan city were abandoned after the arrival of the conquistadors. Visitors tour the 47 stone structures that make up the ruins and see some of the preserved ancient paintings.
