Tamarindo

This beautiful traditional fishing town, the capital of Guanacaste province, is located northwest of Costa Rica’s coast. In addition to its fishing tradition, its handicrafts and cultural heritage, and its cuisine, this area of the country is known for its proximity to many protected areas of great ecological value, such as Las Baulas National Marine Park and the tropical rainforest, among others.

Playa Flamingo

Located on the country’s so-called Gold Coast, Playa Flamingo is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Its fine, delicate white sand and its crystalline waters invite you to do a variety of aquatic activities, such as fishing, one of the most common activities in the area, or diving, due to the rich biodiversity of the marine life in its waters. On land nearby, there are other points of interest for golf and nature lovers, such as Santa Rosa National Park and Palo Verde National Park.

Playa Conchal

Considered one of the most exotic beaches in Costa Rica, Playa Conchal owes its name to the large number of small shells accumulated in its sand. Its warm, crystalline waters and pleasant climate, which is sunny practially all year round, invite you to go snorkeling in one of the most diverse marine areas in the country. Here it’s easy to swim among tropical fish and species like manta rays or even sharks. In addition, there are areas that are perfectly equipped for adventure and nature lovers to go camping and sleep beneath the stars.
