Rolando and Lili got married on May 21st 2016 in the spectacular hotel Barceló Karmina, an idyllic paradise in which their 85 guests enjoyed unforgettable moments. The happy couple’s most cherished memory is the sand ceremony, an act that symbolizes the unbreakable union they share. Husband and wife poured a seashell full of sand into a common vase. Each grain of sand represents an individual life experience, by combining the contents of both shells their lives are united forever as one.

Their friends and family gathered to presence the ceremony in a beautiful outdoor setup surrounded by coastal landscapes, tall palm trees and delicate sea breeze. The party went on throughout the night with many toasts to the bride and groom and music under a sky full of stars, which was finally lit up with fireworks to top off the celebration.
